The BigFreeBet.Com Cup Final against Didcot will now be played at Top Field on Wednesday 4 April kick off 7.45pm. This date was decided by the League and neither team had any involvement in the choice.

The postponed League game with Dorchester will now be played on Monday 23 April kick off 7.45pm.

This Sunday 25 March the Ladies are at home to Letchworth Garden City Eagles in the semi-final of the Chris Renshaw Cup. The game will be played at Swinburne Avenue kick off 2.00pm.

The academy team lost 4-3 to Leatherhead on Wednesday. Next Wednesday 28 March they are at home to Met Police at the Arena kick off 1.30pm. Hitchin are currently sixth in the league table.

The charity match for Sport Relief featuring Hitchin Boys School, Hitchin Girls School and Priory School had to be postponed on Wednesday because of the waterlogged pitch. It has been rearranged for Wednesday 11 April at Top Field 5.00pm to 9.00pm. Entrance fee is £2.00.

We host Tiverton Town at Top Field on Saturday 31 March, kick off 3pm. This is our annual Women At The Game event offering women and girls the chance to watch live, local football in a supportive environment.

Admission is free for all female fans and there is a pre-match event in the Canary Club function room, which all women are welcome to attend. This event will, above all, provide women with a chance to meet each other and feel comfortable watching the match, with new friends. Also available at the event will be light refreshments and representatives from Hitchin Town Belles and Hitchin Ladies, Hitchin's two women's teams.

We have made two further signings. Matthew Spring has signed on a dual registration with Hemel Hempstead. Matt made three appearances for us in March last season, scoring one goal.

We have also signed our academy goalkeeper Josh Mollison on first team forms.

Jack Green has played two games for Harpenden and we are still hopeful he will be back playing for us before the end of the season.

The blog will be back next week!
